If you are considering a water birth, either in hospital or at home, this workshop may be for you.
Hosted by experienced Independent Midwife, Marion Costin-Ford, you will leave the day feeling more confident in making the right choices for you.
During the 4 hour session you will be given a wealth of information and practical knowledge including:
- Films of natural water birth;
- The adaptation of your baby from the womb to the outside world;
- The effective use of a birth pool in labour;
- Positions for labour and birth;
- The pro’s and con’s of labour and birth in water;
- A chance to get in the pool if you wish.
You will also be able to e-mail Marion for ongoing support, should you have any
issues with your choices.
Sessions are held once a month at the Studio at Stapleford Barn and the cost is £35 per couple (£30 per single person) and runs from 10 am — 2 pm.
This includes light lunchtime refreshments and unlimited hot and cold drinks.
